Music and art give us a voice no matter what might be happening around us. Since 2007, Vibe of Portland has been providing music and art education throughout the city, serving tens of thousands of students with weekly classes, camps, workshops and events. East Winds Music, having been created in 2014, along with Vibe serves to connect communities to creativity, teaching artists and long-term arts access. Today more than ever it is our mission that we continue to integrate with local communities and use our platform to amplify and strengthen new voices with music and arts education.

Too many arts organizations and non-profits have been severely impacted by the loss of pandemic aid funding, yet we need the transformational power of music and creativity more than ever. In 2022, thanks to pandemic aid from the state of Oregon, we were able to offer 20 students full scholarships to EWBC! Our goal is to fundraise an even great amount year after year.
